Dear Friends of EJ Victor:
We are in the process of recovering from Hurricane Helene, now the deadliest hurricane since Katrina, which has focused much of its destruction on Western NC. Most importantly, we are grateful that all our employees are safe and accounted for. Your thoughts and prayers are dear to us during this difficult time.
In the heart of Helene’s path, our Morganton, NC plant and corporate offices were flooded and sustained extensive damages. Thanks to the efforts of many emergency response, disaster relief, and local infrastructure employees, the water has receded and power has been restored. With this access now back to our facility, initial assessments and cleanups are underway and moving as quickly as possible. Despite the temporary interruption at our Morganton, NC facility, Antonia and Shamsian casegood shipments will not be interrupted, as they are drop shipped directly from other facilities that were not affected by Hurricane Helene.
Many of you have inquired as to what you can do to help our EJ Victor employees impacted by Hurricane Helene. We have set up an EJ Victor Employee Recovery account with Fifth/Third bank for donations on behalf of our employees. You may remit donations to the fund via ACH, wire or check. Instructions are provided below. Due to operational limitations, electronic payments are encouraged.
One hundred percent of the money received will be disbursed to our employees to address their specific needs.
